New Year, New Wheels
Annie needed a new car, fast. Even with a paperwork change on New Year's Eve, the team at UW Credit Union helped her get it done.
When I needed to look for a new car and get help with a personal loan, I made an appointment on the website to talk to somebody at the Bayshore branch, and that ended up being Rosie. We talked over the phone, I explained my situation and she made sure that everything went through so I could get approved.
I found the car I wanted to buy the night before New Year's Eve. The next day - New Year's Eve - I went into the branch to get all the paperwork stuff done, and Rosie was amazing. She went through everything, making sure I knew exactly what was going on. When a mistake on the paperwork from the seller came up, Rosie stayed with me in her office and we chatted. Not once did she make me feel like I was taking up too much time, she was really great about that. She never made me feel like I was a hassle. We finally managed to get all the paperwork sorted out, and made sure we got the cashier's check done before everything closed so that it would all go through and I was able to go and get my car later that day.
Later the next week, I called about the personal loan I needed to do and she had already spoken to her manager and had everything ready for that. All we had to do was finalize the details, which was really nice.
Every time I've gone to the credit union for something, it's been really helpful. I did my mortgage through UWCU last year - a completely new process for me, which was very exciting.
For some reason, I always feel like I'm a kid when I have to deal with financial stuff. I'm 35 years old, but I feel like I don't know what I'm doing. Rosie and the team at UW Credit Union just made everything really easy. She was really nice about everything, and never made me feel silly with any of my questions. And when I needed to get my financial life cleaned up, Rosie was great in helping me figure out what I needed to do and how to do it. With her help, I'm more comfortable with what's going on in my financial life.
